The elusive plot is based on the Shakespearean storytelling and the ideas of Greek mythology and other fairy-tales. The phrase “There was a storm” explains the whole concept and ties staggering stunts on a teeterboard, tossing tricks and choreography with the narration. The story of romance, the story of empowering women, Amaluna reveals the female power.

What Is Cirque Du Soleil Amaluna About?

Based on Shakespeare’s Tempest, the story takes us to the island whose name consists of “ama” (mother), and “luna” (moon), and tells about the women who live and rule the existence of the place. The main characters are trapped on the island, and learn to co-exist with the inhabitants, as well as reveal the dangerous and mysterious details about the place.
